Stack Verdict stores your email, display name, self-reported role, password hash, responses, and any store domain you submit. Passwords are salted and hashed; they are never displayed to the administrator.

What other people see

Approved experiences may show your display name, role, store verification badge, answers, and optional comment. Your email, password hash, and verification token are not public. Avoid sharing customer information or confidential business details in a response.

Cookies and visitor counts

A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. An anonymous browser identifier estimates unique visitors for up to 90 days. We retain visit paths and timestamps for 90 days; counts may include bots or repeat devices. DNS verification requests send your store domain to Google’s public DNS service.

Accounts and moderation

The administrator can view account and response information to manage the community, review store claims, and moderate submissions. Store badges confirm domain control and an admin store check; they do not guarantee any review is accurate. Responses are moderated before publication.

Request a change or removal

Contact Stack Verdict through @stackvverdict on Instagram to request correction or deletion. Account recovery is currently handled through the same channel, with an identity check.
